Our one-pint of surface primer covers approximately 20 square feet. One gallon of surface primer covers 200 square feet. This material can be rolled, sprayed, or brushed. Our primer typically dries within 3-5 minutes. The primer seals the road surface and creates a permanent bonding area for the sign.

Notes on primer application:

• Primer should be applied in a thin coat, allowed to dry for approximately five minutes, until tacky to the touch.
• Can be applied with a roller or brush, with excess primer removed from the brush before application.
• One gallon of primer is necessary for every 200 square feet.
• One roll of 4" x 90' Parking Lot Striping Tape covers 30 square feet so one gallon of primer is sufficient for approximately 6 rolls of tape.
